ABOUT THE CLUB
At Bexley, we are first and foremost a dive club. Our aims are to promote the sport of scuba diving through training and participation, with an emphasis on safety and enjoyment for all. We train and dive under the internationally recognised standards of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), but we welcome divers qualified from other agencies too. So whether you are a complete beginner or have trained with another agency… join us!

Bexley Sub-Aqua Club is not only a dive club, but also a social club. We meet at 8pm every Tuesday at Sidcup Leisure Centre. Those who aren’t training or attending lectures usually hang out in the comfy seats in the café area chatting and helping out pool side when needed. Afterwards (from about 10pm) we adjourn to Ye Olde Black Horse pub in Sidcup where we talk about diving and generally have a laugh. When we’re not diving, we find other ways to socialise including summer BBQs, Christmas Curry nights, bowling, paintball or even a quiz evening.
Traditionally the Club also holds an annual Dinner and Dance where awards and qualifications gained are presented throughout the evening. Check out our Facebook page to see what else we get up to!
