TRY DIVE
SPORTS DIVER

Sports Diver training builds a sound foundation of open water diving skills and experience with structured, practical lessons. Qualified Sports Divers are ready to take part in dives with other Sports Divers or higher. Depth can be built progressively to a maximum of 35m after qualifying.  Sports Divers can embark on the first stage of the route of instruction.

DIVE LEADER
DIVE LEADER

Dive Leader training covers responsibilities and safety of leading other divers. Practical lessons will give divers confidence to deal with emergencies. Leading a dive will develop enjoyment, confidence and experience as a diver. Depth can be built progressively to a maximum of 50m after qualifying.  Dive Leaders are eligible to progress to Advanced Diver and also embark on the Instructor path.

ADVANCED DIVER

BSAC Advanced Diver training produces a trained, experienced and responsible diver.  It provides further structured broadening of experience via consolidation, through largely practical situational training. The BSAC Advanced Diver can manage and supervise a wide range of adventurous and challenging diving activities.  These include branch diving expeditions to explore unfamiliar locations and branch diving activities including dives which utilise developing technology and techniques.

FURTHER TRAINING

Through our affiliation with BSAC you can further your training and even become an instructor.  The next grade after BSAC Advanced Diver is BSAC First Class Diver (the highest dive grade there is).  There are also many Skill Development courses on offer from First Aid and Boat Handling to Underwater Photography and Wreck Diving, whatever interests you.
